I tried it on immediately.

After a lot of squeezing and twisting and sucking it in... it fit!!!

Holiday Trend... PURPLE!

Long time no blog! (I've been ever so busy since Halloween...)

You might not think it, but purple is quite the color this season despite the typical reds and greens you'd typically see this month.

I'm adding my own little trend for the Holidays. Purple and Gold nail color!
Using the new Muppet collection by OPI.

Start with one layer of OPI's "Designer... de-Better!"

Then use the sparkly purple "Divine Swine" on top

Lastly use the OPI top coat for a long-lasting surprisingly gorgeous and festive look...

Pumpkin Carving! :D

Today I ::finally: got pumpkins to carve : )

Decorations!

Martha Stewart ghosts!

Alex and I decided while looking through Martha's catalog that we would make these ghosts!
We were thinking of hardware stores nearby and I remembered that there was an Anawalt pretty close... An Anawalt on Pico & Sepulveda... We simultaniously said, "Pico and Sepulveda?!?!"
"Pico and Sepulveda! Pico and Sepulveda! Pico and Sepulveda!" If any of you have seen The Forbidden Zone or know who Lee Press-on and the Nails are, you'll understand our enthusiasm for "Pico & Sepulveda!"

 Take the two sticks of wood and put them together leaving only a little room at the top. Use zip-ties diagonally each way to secure them together.

 Wrap led lights all around the sticks and cover them with cheesecloth.

 Stick the carved pumpkins(I used funkins so they would last) on top, put the lights inside...

 ...and you're done!

A day of Pools and Piranhas!

Today there was a lot of swimming in a pool and swimming in a pool of blood!

I hadn't worked with Gary in a while, it was about time I was "Blood Girl" again...

By the end of the day it was freezing and exhausting, but all in all it was good fun : )

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

I had never seen it in a theater before and I have to say it was amazing on the big screen!

Being there when it came out  for the first time in 1984 would have been so cool to see. But this was pretty cool too : )
